He was a guy who’s an older guy, had a white beard.

We were walking through we started talking, and we ended up having a cup of coffee. And the guy was relatively affluent. He drove away in his Rolls Royce.

The second time I saw him, we got to talking and I said,”What do you do?” He said, “Well, I’m retired.” He said, “I used to be in the carpet cleaning business.” I said, “You were in a carpet cleaning business and you own a Rolls Royce?!” And he says, “Yeah.” “How the hell did you do that? I’m in the carpet cleaning business.” He says, “Well, I discovered a simple little secret. Actually, I learned it in Czechoslovakia, believe it or not. And when I brought it over here, nobody else in America was doing it, and it turned my whole life around.”

I said, “Was it expensive?” He said, “No, there’s nothing to it.” I said, “Why don’t other people?” He said, “I don’t know. I just never thought of it.” “Will you tell me what it is?”

After we got to be friends, the guy told me what it was. And I got so excited, I couldn’t even finish the meal. I literally ran away from the table. I thought, “This is too good to be true. It is just too simple. This can’t be real.”

I decided to give it a test. Hell, it was only going to cost me $15. And I did it. And 3 days later, 3 people called me. The day after that, 7 more people called me, too. Within a month, I was getting an average of 56 calls a day and had to stop doing what this guy did.
