As soon as they ordered, that’s when people are the most wlling to repurchase.

As soon as they order, they should get a stick letter that reassures them they made a good decision purchasing that product, and say,” By the way, I want to tell you, something brand new just happened, and you may be interested too. And since you’ve ordered this other thing, if you order right away, you get a special deal.” That’s the most profitable time, usually in the selling cycle of the customers. It’s extremely hard to get someone to do something (aka get someone to buy your stuff)

So at the moment a customer starts moving, once he’s in motion. Whether that’s contacting you about the product, adding it to cart or buying something, you got him in the mindset. Keep going after that guy. But you’ve got to remember, though, a slug only remains in heat for a short period of time. Pick up the gold coins, time is limited.

Let’s say that there’s gold coins in one area and silver coins in another, and copper in another, lead in another. Some people say, “Let’s just run around in a frenzy, picking up coins.” And I’ll say, “No, let’s stay here and pick up the gold coins until there’s no more gold. Then let’s go after the silver.” There’s only 24 hours in a day. And if it takes the same amount of effort to pick up the gold one as it does the lead one, pick up the gold ones. Don’t value information by the pound, but by the quality of it.

The sharper the people are, the less they give a fuck about how long it takes you to give them the solution. I’ve had guys pay me enormous amounts of money, $30,000. I go in there and talk for 20mins, and they are happy because they’re players and they got the key that they want. Make it a 7-star experience

First of all, you should think what would be the 5-star experience like. We basically took one part of our product and we extrapolated: what would a 5-star experience be? Then we went crazy. A 5-star experience is: You knock on the door, they open the door, they let you in. Great. That’s not a big deal. You’re not going to tell every friend about it. You might say, ‘I used Airbnb. It worked.’ So we thought, ‘What would a 6-star experience be?’ A 6-star experience: You knock on the door, the host opens and shows you around. On the … Continue reading Make it a 7-star experience

Never accept mediocrity again

Too often, we receive something we paid for and it’s not exactly how we wanted it… But then we think “Huh, I guess it will be faster to do it myself” or “It’s going to take too much time for that person to make it right”. But NO. If you are to pay someone to do something, it has to be great. It has to be the best version of what it could be. If it’s not and the person can’t make it happen… then don’t pay for it. It’s not what you wanted, you shouldn’t pay for that. F*#k … Continue reading Never accept mediocrity again

Ask yourself: “Who’s paying who?”

Remember this when you have to go out of your way to please someone you pay. Too often, we get caught up in oiling the wheels of social interactions and we will go against our will. For example, a house cleaner asks you to leave your house in x state. Let’s rewind, I am the one paying you. This should go the way I want and not the other way around. Your landlord tells you to fix a thing or call a guy to repair the toilet. I’m sorry but I’m paying you here. -Shaan Puri, MFM Continue reading Ask yourself: “Who’s paying who?”

Project selection is king

So first things first, is this what you want to do? You think it’s a good product/idea, but you don’t think the business economics are great Ask yourself Are those true? Or just stories I’m telling myself If I don’t know, what work can I do to get the info? If it’s not true, then how do I replace those beliefs with more true beliefs? If it is true, then what am I going to do about it? -All Access Pass, Shaan Puri Continue reading Project selection is king
