What’s a calendar audit? For one week, you keep track of each hour. And then what you do, the next week you just go back and pull up last week’s calendar and you take 3 colored markers. Green, red, and yellow marker. Which block gave me energy? Mark them in green. Which things sucked the energy out of me? I was drained after doing it? Mark them in red. Which block were neutral? Think of it this way. If something is wanted a large amount by a large number of people, it exists already. So you’re left with 3 options. That’s the way to think about starting boring stuff. Some projects have wonderful long-term results but because these are long-terms, they are pushed back. For example, blogging is a great example. You won’t see results today, but in 6months or a year from now, you’ll be so happy to have written this article when you’re in the google snippets. Same thing for fitness. Meditation is like an email mailbox

As we grow up, so many things are happening in your life. Some of it you’re processing, some of it you’re absorbing and some of it you should probably think a bit more about. Memorize stuff is the worst thing, you can do. You need to understand it. A good way to do so is to articulate it in writing or talking.

There are gaps in thinking where you make leaps. Because youère kind to yourself. But you don’t know you’re making those. But when you’re forced to write it down, or to articulate it, or talk to somebody, you have to complete those gaps and make it a logical chain.
